Recently, Trump's tariff policy has led to an intensification of global trade tensions and an increase in business operating costs. According to US media reports on April 25th, many merchants on e-commerce platforms such as Amazon in the US have begun to raise the prices of their products. According to data provided by a price analysis agency, since April 9th, the prices of nearly 1,000 items on the US Amazon website have risen significantly, covering multiple categories such as clothing, home goods, electronic products and toys, with an average increase of nearly 30%. Several cross-border e-commerce platforms, including Temu and Shein, have issued announcements stating that due to the "recent changes in global trade rules and tariffs", which have led to an increase in operating costs, they will implement price adjustments starting from April 25. A large number of American netizens on social media also lamented that the items in their shopping carts had become more expensive overnight.
