As the first exhibition in China, the 7th China International Import Expo was held at the Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai) from November 5 to 10, with the scale of the Australian national exhibition group reaching a new high and many iconic Australian companies participating.
More than 170 Australian exhibitors will be represented in the 1,000 square metre Australian National Pavilion, covering the top food and beverage products from Australia's dominant industries, including meat, seafood, wine, dairy, health products, agricultural products and consumer products from New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and Victoria. Ms. Huang Fengying, general manager of Guangzhou Ausfood International Trading Co., LTD., brought Majans casual snack series, which is popular in Australia and produced in Queensland, to participate in the event as a benchmarking enterprise of Queensland food industry and a member of the Queensland Government delegation.
The year 2024 will be Australia's largest exhibition at the CIIE, with 1,000 square meters of booths, reflecting the Australian government's continued confidence in the Chinese market. The Australian Minister for Trade, Hon Don Farrell, and the Australian Ambassador to China, HE Scott Dewar, attended the CIIE in person. Encourage Australian businesses to seize international opportunities, particularly in the Chinese market. The leader of the relevant industry experts of the Australian Trade Commission once again organized a number of industry buyers to visit the Australian Brand Pavilion, one-to-one exchanges and cooperation with the Australian participating brands.
Ms. Huang introduced, and last year's exhibition when customers generally look at different, the exhibition customers more diversified, more positive, as manufacturers agents, importers, the source of retail, deeply feel China's economic transformation, food consumer retail out of the downturn, new formats show vitality of the trend, harvest.
As of November 12, a total of 30 Mous have been signed between Australian companies and their Chinese partners, with a total value of nearly $377 million. It is believed that with the deepening of China-Australia trade relations, the economic and trade cooperation between the two countries will make greater progress and have huge room for development.
